The Team

Alea is a Hudson High graduate class of 2000. She obtained a cosmetology degree through the six districts vocational program at Kent Roosevelt. She is excited to come back to her hometown to open a small business in the Hudson community and her salon is bringing a distinct flavor to their craft.  Since opening The Shoppe Salon, Alea has now taken a position as Chairwoman on the board of directors Hudson chamber of commerce.  Alea won Progrssive Entrepreneur of the year in 2026 from The Smart Business Organization. She was humbled to be 1 of 5 women in North Eastren Ohio to earn this honor.

 Alea has been recognized for her skills in the professional beauty industry as one of the top national platform artists and educators for John Paul Mitchell Systems 2001-2012 and earned the coveted titles of Senior Associate, Master Colorist, and Master Cutter where she trained stylists all over the country in the latest techniques of hair design. Alea currently educates independently as a consultant. Her career has been dedicated to raising the level of professionalism of hairstylists nationwide and that is no exception in her own salon which has been named in the Top 200 Salons in North America for 3 consecutive years. Alea gives credit to her team who are dedicated to their craft and careers.

Meet Tia — a hair colorist and spray tan specialist here at The Shoppe who brings sunshine and skill to every appointment! With an iced Americano in hand and an upbeat playlist in the background, Tia creates effortless beauty while making sure her clients leave glowing—inside and out. She’s passionate about staying inspired, often scrolling through TikTok and Instagram for the latest trends and techniques to bring back to her chair. Outside the salon, you’ll find her soaking up the outdoors, getting a good workout in, reading a new book, or baking something delicious. Her must-haves? Dry shampoo, a good serum, chapstick, and (of course) a trusty hair clip. Tia’s proudest moments come when a client walks out beaming with confidence—and she credits the supportive, fun-loving girls she works with at The Shoppe for making every day even better. If she weren’t a stylist, she’d be living her best life as a stay-at-home dog mom. Tia’s ideal client? Anyone who’s chill, adventurous, and ready to chat about travel or their next big move! 

Meet Katie, one of our incredibly passionate and versatile stylists at The Shoppe! Whether she’s creating the perfect color, sculpting a fresh cut, or just making someone feel seen and confident, Katie brings heart to every service. A lover of movement and nature, she recharges with yoga, running, hiking, and adventures with her two little “hearts.” Her go-to drink? A brown sugar shaken espresso for that perfect energy boost. Katie can’t live without her Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shine Spray, and she stays inspired through continuing education and connecting with fellow stylists. You’ll always find lip gloss, her phone, and tissues in her bag—ready for anything life (or the salon) throws her way. For Katie, The Shoppe is more than a workplace; it's her home away from home, where she gets to be creative with a team she loves. Her proudest moments come from sharing in her clients’ lives, from everyday glow-ups to the biggest milestones. And if she weren’t a stylist? You’d probably spot her behind the wheel of a Zamboni. 

Meet Kirsten, one of our talented hairstylists at The Shoppe and a total master of highlights! She’s all about creating bright, beautiful looks that bring out the best in every client. Fueled by an iced white chocolate mocha with an extra shot of espresso, Kirsten brings high energy and good vibes to every appointment — especially when “Chill Baby” by SZA is playing. Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with her family and riding motorcycles. Her go-to tool? The new Neuro blowdryer — it’s a must-have in her styling kit. Kirsten stays inspired by continuing her education and constantly learning new trends and techniques. Her dream celebrity client is Benson Boone (and yes, she’d ask him to sing during the service!). You’ll always find her with lip gloss, a water bottle, and sunglasses on hand. Her proudest career moment so far? Becoming a Level 4 Stylist by her third year at The Shoppe. She loves working alongside the amazing women she calls her second family and welcomes clients of all kinds with open arms. If she weren’t a stylist, she’d be shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher. Her motto? “Don’t tell people your dreams. Show them.” And she does — every single day.

Meet Ellen, one of our vibrant and talented stylists at The Shoppe who brings creativity, energy, and killer blowouts to every service. Her go-to fuel? An iced white mocha latte with sweet cream cold foam and caramel drizzle — the perfect start to a busy salon day. Outside of work, Ellen loves spending time with her pup Pongo, diving into new TV shows, crafting, shopping, and exploring new restaurants. She thrives on early 2000s music (you’ll catch her singing and dancing around the salon when it’s on!) and finds inspiration by learning new techniques and watching her incredible coworkers in action. Ellen’s favorite part of her job is finishing a service with a flawless blowout — it's her signature touch! Her can’t-live-without tool? The Paul Mitchell blow dryer, hands down. She dreams of doing Jennifer Aniston’s hair one day and getting all the behind-the-scenes Friends gossip. You’ll always find her with lip gloss, perfume, and a hair tie in her bag, ready for anything. Most of all, Ellen loves the close-knit, supportive vibe at The Shoppe, where her team truly feels like family. Her ideal client? Someone who loves to laugh, share stories, and just enjoy the experience in her chair. 

Meet Amanda,This highlight queen loves packing in the foils (the more, the better!). When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her “adventuring” with her two little boys, sipping on a cold brew with vanilla non-dairy cold foam and cinnamon, or jamming to Crawl by Alkaline Trio. Amanda stays inspired through nonstop education and is always striving to bring a little joy—and a lot of laughs—to each guest in her chair. Her proudest moments come when clients let her know their appointment brightened their day. She thrives on the unwavering support of her teammates at The Shoppe and says it’s her safe space both professionally and personally. And if she wasn’t a stylist, she’d be serving others as a nurse or caregiver. Amanda’s grit and heart are summed up by her favorite quote:“Hope has dirt on her face, blood on her knuckles...and just spat out a tooth as she rises for another go.” It’s a powerful reminder of her own journey—and how she shows up with strength and hope every single day.

Meet Jenna, one of our talented hairstylists at The Shoppe who specializes in blonding and extensions — and brings heart to every appointment. Fueled by iced caramel coffee from Dunkin', Jenna is all about creating transformations that help clients feel their best. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s spending time with her adorable golden retriever puppy, Tater, or diving into a new documentary. Her go-to products? MoroccanOil Extra Strong Hairspray and her trusty flat iron. Jenna stays inspired by always trying something new, even if it’s a fresh curling technique — those little sparks of creativity keep her passion strong. Her proudest moment as a stylist? Returning to her alma mater, Paul Mitchell, to teach a class — standing where she once sat as a student. She thrives on building genuine relationships with clients and creating a relaxing space where people can truly unwind. If she wasn’t a stylist, Jenna would be in nursing, continuing her calling to care for others. Her personal motto, “Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people,” shines through in everything she does.

Meet Debbie, our vibrant nail tech and esthetician at The Shoppe who brings beauty, good vibes, and a touch of magic to every appointment. Whether she’s sipping on an iced coffee with sweet cream foam or an iced chai with skim milk, Debbie is always ready to uplift her clients with her signature services — nails, facials, and energy work. Outside of the salon, she loves soaking up life with patio drinks, scenic walks, travel adventures, and great company. Her upbeat playlists set the tone while she works her magic, and her trusty nail file is her go-to tool. Debbie stays inspired by her amazing clients, striving to keep them glowing and feeling beautiful. She dreams of doing Stevie Nicks’ nails (hello, girl crush goals) and never leaves home without coffee, water, and her favorite crystals. One of her proudest moments? Appearing on Good Morning Cleveland! Debbie’s ideal clients are fun, laid-back, peaceful, and adventurous — just like her. And while she loves working at The Shoppe for the sisterhood and support, in another life, she’d totally be solving mysteries in a crime lab.   

Born and raised in Hudson, Ohio, Celia is excited to begin her journey in the professional

beauty industry and grow alongside The Shoppe team. A graduate of Hudson High School, she

brings a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people and is especially looking forward to

building meaningful relationships with our guests and getting to know each person who walks

through our doors.

Celia is eager to learn all aspects of the beauty industry while continuing to grow in her role at

The Shoppe. Her warm personality, willingness to learn, and passion for creating a welcoming

guest experience make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Outside of The Shoppe, Celia enjoys fishing, going for walks, spending time with friends, and

hanging out with her adorable pup, Ollie—a Shih Tzu/Toy Poodle mix. 

Julia

Conceierge 

Originally born in Ohio and raised in Houston, Texas, Julia brings a warm, people-first

personality to The Shoppe. She currently attends Hudson High School and plans to attend the

University of Texas after graduation. With previous experience as a contact manager for an

interior design firm, Julia is excited to bring her customer service experience into the beauty

industry as a member of our Concierge Team.

What excites Julia most about the beauty industry is the opportunity to be part of making

someone feel confident, cared for, and their very best. She believes that happiness truly is the

best medicine and loves knowing that even the smallest interaction can make a difference in

someone’s day.

Outside of The Shoppe, Julia loves painting and creating art, baking and cooking healthy foods,

staying active, and spending time with animals—especially her Goldendoodle, Tucker.

Julia is incredibly excited to begin her journey in the beauty industry, learn, grow, and become

part of The Shoppe family—and we’re so happy to have her! 🤍

Meet Emma, one of our incredibly talented nail techs, lash artist, & body waxer at The Shoppe! Known for her love of nail art and eye for detail, she thrives on helping clients feel confident and seen through their work. Her go-to drink is a coconut milk matcha latte, and when she's not in the salon, you’ll likely find her enjoying quality time with friends She stay inspired by the joy of transformation and the little moments that boost someone’s inner confidence. If she weren’t in the beauty industry, she'd be welding—maybe even underwater! Working at The Shoppe feels like being with family, and her favorite part of the job is watching clients light up when they see their final look. Guided by the motto, “Failure is the mother of success,” Emma brings passion, precision, and a whole lot of personality to everything she does.
